It all started with HUMPHREY, her beloved Labrador. Like many people starting out as a couple, with a young family, they got their first puppy together. They truly believed that a firm approach and lots of exercise would be enough to successfully manage the new addition to the family, but soon realised that this wrecking ball of a pup needed much more than regular walks, a loving family and a warm bed! He needed training correctly with a positive outcome and more understanding. Things were a challenge, but after avidly reading training guides and putting the time and effort into teaching HUMPHREY what was expected of him, the family had an amazing 14 years with the most beloved, well known pooch in town.

They now have a new addition to the family, Ralph, the Greater Swiss Mountain dog, and she can honestly say she has enjoyed every minute training this new pup. Whilst studying hard for the CPD Canine Behaviour Training and The Advanced Diploma in Dog Training, Ali took the plunge and set up her own dog walking/care business, at the same time being lucky enough to work at her local vets, gathering more knowledge by constantly asking questions.

Once fully qualified, she started organising small puppy groups using ‘Positive Reward Based Training’ methods and this has been so successful that she now offers full training plans, individual classes and video calls.

She loves working alongside families, improving your relationship with your dog. Obviously with the recent changes meaning more people now work from home, there has been a surge in the number of puppies being introduced into our lives, and Ali thinks it is vitally important that everyone considers the correct training and care for their dogs and not to underestimate how much time and attention they need.
